Jr. Preschool

2-3 Year-olds

Preschool students begin their day with a healthy nutritious breakfast that is served from 8:00 - 8:30, and prepared fresh here at the center. After breakfast, we will begin our morning with a group meeting and socialization time. We will discuss our daily schedule so your child knows what their day will entail. Preschool begins at 9:00am. Our enriched preschool classrooms are designed to provide your child with many choices throughout the day, balancing daily schedules to allow for small group time, child-directed and teacher-directed activities. While children are encouraged to participate in group activities, they are given the flexibility to learn at their own pace and in ways that are best for them.

Preschool classrooms  have been carefully designed so that children have the flexibility for choices, with learning centers clearly identified to help children transition with ease throughout their day. A parent board is located in the classroom with detailed highlights of your child's day. A daily schedule is also posted on the parent board so parents know what the day entails. Consistent communication is key to your child's success at school.

Parent-teacher conferences are held twice a year, January and and May. During conference time, teachers will be prepared to discuss with you, your child's developmental progress, based on the goals and objectives of The Creative CurriculumĀ®. We encourage parents to attend conference time so that you know how your child is progressing.
